Bolivia summits!
Chris Groves is in Bolivia, where the team have so far climbed Pequeno Alpamayo and Huayna Potosi:
No Condors and quite a few snow showers but everything came good in the end. All team members + guides Rolando, Ronaldo, Hillarion & Cecilio summitted Pequeño Alpamayo earlier today (Monday). Round trip from BC taking 7-11hrs. We had the mountain to ourselves.
They then moved onto Huayna Potosi:
Bigger, harder, colder & much busier. Photo of Chris B all the way from Texas on the summit. Dan, Jon M, Mike, Colin, Mark, Chris B, Jon H and Chris G summitted 24 July. Nick & Ania turned back just before dawn. Team now relaxing in La Paz before the last & bigger challenge of Illimani.
