Alex Langdon has sent us a message today:

"All well at Advance Base Camp. We're having a rest day today, which is much needed after a couple of tough days. It was a long day from Japanese Base Camp (5,500m) to Changtse Base Camp (5,800m) in snow, taking 8+ hours. We did have great views though yesterday. You can follow our progress on Nicola's In Reach tracker".
