NEW Ecuador Volcanoes June 2015 date
We have added an additional Ecuador Volcanoes departure (26 June - 12 July 2015*). This is a special opportunity to join and help Harefield hospital to raise money in support of transplant medicine. Specifically, they are raising money to buy Organ Care Systems, which allow donor organs to be maintained in a warm, functioning state outside of the body, extending the time frame from 3 hours in "cold ischaemia" (ice preservation) to a maximum of 12 hours. This increases the number of donated hearts and lungs the team at Harefield can accept and retrieve. *Please note this trip is 17 days - 1 day longer than our standard Ecuador Volcanoes expeditions.
