Experience Required

The Ama Dablam expedition is the most technically difficult of all our expeditions. The expedition grade reflects the technical nature of the climbing whilst recognising that the altitude of the summit is relatively modest.

Team Composition

The 2008 Ama Dablam expedition leader will be Caroline Ogden (NZMG IFMGA). Caroline has over twenty years experience mountaineering all over the world, and immediately prior to the Ama Dablam expedition, she will be leading a Jagged Globe Khumbu Climber expedition. Caroline is a key member of our summer Alpine guiding staff and works throughout the entire season on Jagged Globe Alpine Courses. She is undoubtedly one of our best-loved and hardest working guides.
